PAINMUSEUM/HALFORD Guitarist To Co-Host WDHA's 'Metal Mania' Show

March 6, 2005

PAINMUSEUM/HALFORD guitarist "Metal" Mike Chlasciak will co-host the popular New Jersey "Metal Mania" show on March 11 on WDHA 105.FM with Matt Murray. The show will be a special "The Import Metal Edition", where Metal Mike will spin his favorite tracks NOT found on domestic U.S. releases. Here is your chance to hear rare bonus tracks as released for fans in Japan and other countries.

Metal Mike comments: "Whenever I come home from touring overseas, my suitacases are filled with CDs that are released in other countries. By the time its time to go home, I throw my daily clothes out and just pack them with CDs. One day Matt and I were thinking, you know it's not really fair that U.S. audiences don't get to hear this special music. So ... we are putting our metal hearts where our mouths are and this is finally taking place. I think what we will do is play something that's killer from a domestic release and then throw in an import. Of course, import beers will follow right along the tracks."

You can hear "The Import Metal Edition" on WDHA 105.5FM on Friday, March 11 between 11:00 p.m. and 1 a.m. EST.

PAINMUSEUM's "Metal For Life" CD is available in the United States via all FYE/Coconuts locations. "Metal For Life" will receive a European Release via Demolition Records on April 21. "Metal For Life" features Chlasciak, Bobby Jarzombek (ICED EARTH, HALFORD),Steve DiGiorgio (TESTAMENT, SADUS, DEATH, SEBASTIAN BACH) and newcomer Tim Clayborne. The CD was mixed by Roy Z. (JUDAS PRIEST, BRUCE DICKINSON, HALFORD) and was mastered by James Murphy (DISINCARNATE, DEATH, TESTAMENT). You can preview all album tracks at this location.
